- Transient Video/Audio: Video and audio calls stream directly peer-to-peer (P2P) between participating devices using WebRTC. We do NOT record, intercept, or store live video streams on our servers.
- Device & Connection Data: Technical connection metadata (such as IP address, browser type, and connection timestamps) is processed solely for matchmaking routing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
2. WebRTC Peer-to-Peer Encryption
Real-time video and audio communications utilize DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security) and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) to encrypt peer-to-peer media streams in transit between participants.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use local storage strictly for essential platform functionality, including preserving your audio/video preference selections, language choice, and session token. We do not sell tracking cookies to third-party ad brokers.
4. Third-Party Services
Payment processing for optional VIP subscriptions or coins is handled directly by verified payment processors (e.g., Razorpay / PayPal). Omegle does not store raw credit card numbers or payment credentials on its servers.
5. Data Retention & Security
Connection logs used for spam and harassment prevention are cycled and deleted on a regular rolling schedule. We employ industry-standard encryption and security protocols to safeguard platform infrastructure.
